Wednesday, February 13, 2008
6pm to 8pm
at the
Salem Waterfront Hotel
225 Derby Street, Salem, MA There are some great deals
on single family homes, multi-families, and condominiums. Many of these
bargain properties are bank owned and "short sales". Bank owned
properties are homes that have been foreclosed and are now being sold by
the lender who held the mortgage. Short sales are homeowners who are
selling their homes for less than what they owe on it, and requires bank
approval.
Both of these types of sales require a different approach and
conditions than a typical home purchase, and have pitfalls that could
end up cost you money.
This is a great opportunity for 1st time homebuyers who want to buy a
home at below what others in the same neighborhood are selling for, or
for the investor who needs a rental property that will have immediate
positive cash flow.
Presentations will be given by:
- Andrea Calogero - A mortgage specialist with American
Trust Mortgage Co.
- Sandra L. Goldstein, a real estate attorney
- A Realtor from Armstrong Field Real Estate
Collectively, they will show you how to go through the buying
process, get the best deal, and how to avoid losing your shirt
in this informative 1 ½ hour seminar. A question & answer period will
follow.
There will be a drawing held at the end of the presentation for a
gift certificate to a local restaurant.
